(no subject)
Was supposed to go out with my dad last night but I was way too tired. I just kind of stayed around my house watching tv... something I rarely do anymore. I got an insanely large amount of sleep between yesterday and today, so that was good. Definitely well deserved.
This morning I went out for breakfast with my dad. Mom still wasn't feeling better so she stayed home. Went to work right afterwards. It was such a slow day! Finally, things became a little more lively. After work I headed over to Avi's house for the party or get together, whatever you wanna call it. I got there after it was scheduled to start but there weren't a lot of people there. Avi wasn't even there. So I hung out with Sebastian for a little while... then I moved outside and talked to Craig. Hadn't seen him in ages. Finally David appeared. Thank god. He's moving back near me!!! Yay! I missed having him live in this area. But that will all change soon :) Much happines. Liat came. We barely talked... not that I was all that surprised. It's just kind of sad. I saw my brother for a little while.. and Avi. Then I left. I can't believe I felt so out of place. I mean, I don't know. We've all just changed. I guess that's the way things go. Just makes me a little sad.
I brought my parents dinner... yea, I know, it doesn't seem like something I would do. I was feeling nice for some reason. Talked to them for a little while. Printed out my paper for Earth/Space and I should be working on scholarships right now, but well, I'm not. I WILL do that tomorrow. Maybe even later tonight, but right now, I'm doing something for me. I deserve that much.
Yesterday was the Regional Mu Alpha Theta competition at Middleton. I got a positive score, yay me! I know it's not perfect, but I was proud of myself. So there. So many smart people around... at least I showed up. Can't say that for everyone. Poor Aldo, he was there by himself, as well. Next one is in Feb. at PHUHS. Might go. Might not. I'll figure that out later. Back to my project...
