Go in with no hopes. That way you won't be disappointed. I went this morning, this time I was able to take three friends to the screening, and two of them were bored out of their minds. One, a girl in the demographic this film is marketed towards, loved it.
It pays close attention to the book until almost the end . . . and then it's - different.

Gah!! What?? but the end...the end is the book!!
OK, I'm not gonna ask any more questions because I'll end up going looking for spoilers. lol. I'll try and reserve judgement until I've seen it for myself! :)
Well, just keep in mind that this is a movie made from a BOOK. And as such only so much can fit into a movie where the book has the space to be beautifully descriptive.
Oh yeah, of course, they can't put in every little detail. It only annoys me if they miss something huge. Like in Prisoner of Azkaban, excellent movie, but they missed out the explaination of where the map came from and who Mooney, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs were! Now to me, that's quite important! Lol.
I'm sooo glad they are splitting book 7 into two mvoies, because I have no clue how they would possibly fit it all into one. There is nothing they can conceivably miss out!
It pays close attention to the book, <----This is exactly what I want to hear!! Lol! IMO only Phoenix has really done that in enough detail so far.
