okay, so, PARTS of new york city are glamourous, i take that back.

MoMA today was glamourous. especially when i sweet-talked my way into the Richard Serra exhibit (BOTH floors, thank you) that isn't open to the public yet - members only. there were all these rich white old people nodding when the woman was talking about the work. they were all SO shocked that none of the pieces were mounted, and only propped. uh, HENCE THE NAME OF THE BODY OF WORK, jeez. so silly. anyway, i had a busy day of walking through exhibits, which was so freaking nice. the only annoying thing was that there wasn't anything new in the painting and sculpture galleries, or in the architecture and design galleries. i hadn't seen the helvetica exhibit, but i got to see it today so that was fun. overall, good day.

i'm updating live from ICP (international center of photography). this place always feels like home, i love it. HOWEVER!, they took out all the macs in the main lobby cuz they're redoing it completely. all the classrooms were locked except for this one, but it has a really nice iMac 17" and that is cool. i like coming here periodically and seeing what new updates there are. i really really love it here.

i'm gonna try to find some cheapo food (probably falafel from some street vendor) and head to brooklyn (williamsburg - ugh) to see the fashionistas (yay!) cuz i haven't seen them in a while. bowen and mike norton will be there (cool!) and so will the band (duh). after that, RUBULAD with santiago (hooray) and dancing and hopefully i will see other people too.

tomorrow is the beach in jersey with tara and heather and people for tara's birthday, and monday i am going to some beach in LI with lembo.

BUSYBUSYBUSYBUSYBUSY FUN AWESOME I MISS JOE.
