So I finished classes/finals/critiques yesterday. I'm done! I decided to pick up two shifts at work: one at the Honor Show handing back work to students, and the other at the 4th floor studio cage. Both places, as I knew, would be pretty empty. Not a whole lot is going on - no one is shooting in the studios because they're all in the lab printing and editing, and no one needed help with getting their work because they found it themselves or didn't come.
Want to know what I've been doing for the past 3 hours at the Honor Show?
Watching Heroes, of course!
Aaaaand want to know what I'll be doing for the next 5 hours also?
You guessed it - Heroes.
I'm on episode 16. I think there are 22. I think that sounds about reasonable. I have music with me on my iPod and, I'd like to thank the 3rd floor cage for having laptops and making this all possible. I brought a book too, just in case the episodes run out. But pfft, who reads anymore anyway?
I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I stayed for as long as I could and I was still on time. It's pretty hard to break away out of this comfortable, warm bed - especially when there's someone else in it who is holding you there, trying to prevent you to leave. As much as it sucks having to force yourself out of someone's grasp like that because you KNOW you need to go, it's a great feeling to have someone holding onto you that tightly.
Uh, I think he'd kill me if he knew I posted that. hahaha
We talked in bed for probably an hour last night (at like, 3:30am), at least, about art. He can be hard to debate with but I enjoy the challenge. And as much as I hate reading his posts about the Yankees, he is a really good writer when it comes to articles and things like that.
Aaaaanyway, I'm updating livejournal at work - how silly.
OMG, Judy Levy (2D Judy) just came by for the MFA photo student walk through. Holy shit, she's a lot LOT nicer when you don't have class with her. Teachers are funny like that - they treat you differently later on. Well, I guess that makes sense; they have a persona to keep up. I told her I remembered what she had told me when I was in her class, which I did. I'm too afraid to take risks because I haaaated how I drew. I couldn't draw and I can't draw, classically anyway. But anyone that can pick up a pen or pencil can draw. And even those that can't can still create.
That was random.
Lauren is gone and I wanted to watch the finale with her since I can now. :( I also wanted to write her a note for her trip home but I was SOOOO tired last night after 4 hours of sleep and being awake all day to finish up stuff.
HEY LAUREN! If you read this, send me your address at Disney or something. I have a letter for you :D
