To update, quickly:
Tomorrow is the very last day of EMT class. The past two days - Tuesday and today - we've had our practical finals, and tomorrow night is the written final. I passed the practical finals and expect to pass the written, so I'll pass the course.
Then I have a weekend off and on the 7th of December I take the national practical exam (this is for certification), and can take the national written at any point after finishing the class.
