Menstrual cup made me have strange discharge?

Before I get any weird looks, let me explain. So, for starters: I'm fourteen. I'm not sure if this is innappropriate to say here, but from a completely neutral perspective I'm aware that right now is when hormones truly kick in and you start having more sexual inhibitions. I've masturbated before, all that.

But I've been using the cup for a few months now and this has never happened before, when using the cup or masturbating. I woke up very acutely aware of where the cup was, and all day have been experiencing a strange discomfort. I was pretty sure it was arousal, so I just carried on without thinking much of it.

Then, having changed it just now, the weird sensation persisted. Particularly, it hurt a bit to insert, or at least felt odd albeit not neccesarily painful. I know even then I shouldn't have gone ahead with it, but honestly sometimes sensitivity happens and I really didn't feel like messing around with a tampon or pad instead.

I went back upstairs to my room and figured I put it in too far. Every time I closed my legs around it to sit down it felt too tight. Feeling it, it did feel like that was indeed the case, and after researching how to most effectively break the seal I braced myself and grasped the tail (?) of the cup, shimmying it a little, just to expose the base to then pinch.

After beginning to do that, some kind of clear and thin liquid shot out. I was like, "That felt weird." And continued on trying to expose the base enough to pinch it, but every time I did it kept going back in and that liquid came out. It wasn't at all like any discharge I've had before, and though I suppose it felt somewhat like an orgasm it certainly didn't feel like what was supposed to come out after that either.

After a lot more discharge, I eventually removed it properly, cleaning the anti-suction holes and putting it away because I was so confused and shaken by the whole ordeal. I really just don't know what the Hell that was. I wanted to use a pad because my actual vagina still felt really strange, but we didn't have one so I had to use a tampon, and the slight discomfort is still present.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? Is it abnormal, or something of any concern? I'd really rather not have this discussion with my mom, just out of not knowing how to bring it up, but still. Any help is appreciated, and I sincerely hope this wasn't "TMI." Thanks in advance!
