While my cervix bungee jumps from high to low and back again, it's more or less in the same location so I find that giving the stem/base of my cup a nudge rearward points the opening toward it and seats it properly almost every time. Once you establish where yours hangs out, a similar nudge in the right direction might also result in success.

With your Diva, make sure that the anti-suction holes were punched all the way through. Sometimes they're not. Be careful not to start a tear when poking at them.

Also, since you're having so much trouble getting the Diva to open, try opening it down lower. I insert my cup so that the rim is just beyond my pubic bone, then allow it to open fully there. Finally I nudge it in the right direction and give it a boost as I kegel it up and into position.

Try different folds and also try facing them this way and that. I found that the punch-down fold with the punched part facing down works best for me. I hold it with my thumb and middle finger and once I'm ready to open it, I create an air channel with my index finger so I can feel it unfold. (Then nudge and boost.) Will that method word for you too? Maybe. Sooner or later, you'll come up with your own way. It's all part of that darn learning curve. Hang in there, you've ALMOST got it!

thanks for the tips. i did try letting it open and then pushing it further but it still didn't work. the types of folds don't seem to make a difference....
