So we will walk through the fire
Five things make a post, I guess.
1. I have had two job interviews in the last few days, and I have another one at the end of the month. I don't suck! These interviews are making me feel so much better about my job search and my qualifications for life post-graduation. I am going to be successful.
2. I have been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer like a crazy person. I like it, but it's not something that requires a tremendous amount of thought, so that's actually really nice. Also, I really enjoyed the musical episode, Once More With Feeling, which I hadn't seen before. It's awesome.
3. I got to go home this weekend and see my family and my dog and cat, which was totally wonderful. It was a really nice break from school, which was getting a little stressful. And I got to see one of my bestest friends from home who has just moved into her new home with her husband, which was also really lovely.
4. I have just finished Grail by Elizabeth Bear and it was wonderful. I think it requires a reread with some thought to fully process it, and perhaps I should reread Dust and Chill as well as it's been a while since I read them and I felt a little bit disconnected from it. Still, totally awesome.
