birthday wishes, fandom, and random odd behavior
* I missed at least two birthdays that I really feel bad about that so very Happy belated Birthday wishes to both arionrhod and ellid. You both give us so much and I know our fandom would suffer without the participation you both share so easily.
* And speaking of birthdays... mimesere has hers tomorrow. So Happy Birthday wishes go out to her as well. Division 16 is the very first OF I ever read on-line and it is still the one I think of most often. Not to mention how cool her Norrington love is to behold *Hugs Norrington*. Plus it's really fun watching people being so enthusiastic about fandoms you have never even heard of.
* Woot! time_of_storm is back! I can get back to serious worry over Snape and Lupin. I have missed them. I started rereading from the time Bellatrix tries to kill Snape because I know I have forgotten many of the details of Remus' trip to The Continent.
* I am completely caught up with SGA eps. Go me! That was 15 episodes in a week. Nothing like the focus aliaself has but ... Go Me! Next up either Doctor Who or more SG-1.
* I brought aliaself into SGA fandom and I am hoping to con her into SG-1 too. All it really took were some icons, and a picture of John and some really bad fish jokes... and eight months. Last week I sent her the first two seasons plus the three from season three. Two days after getting the box she is on season 2 ep 17. Now that's dedication. Oh and she finally saw the original Stargate movie.
* After what seems like almost a week ... because it was, I have finally downloaded season nine of SG-1. Now I just need to catch up with the watching. That will be problematic I can tell. I have uploaded 3 copies of same and *pox* on the people who just grab and go.
* Spent Saturday night bonding with CG data_warrior and her family. Had an excellent time and I only missed my turn three times, I really do have trouble reading maps while driving. Great dinner, some new beer I liked almost as much as Grolsch though I don't recall the names. Trashed the house... well okay I broke their wee oil lamp (no I was not drunk just stupid) Great music. I think CG has almost every song ever uploaded. I definitely need new speakers because my music (a lot of it from her) never sounds that good. We didn't do much of anything just yacking and more yacking but it was great fun.

* Today is a very odd day I must be suffering from multiple personality disorder. I am reading SG1 fic, Atlantis fic and Snape/Lupin while burning the Inkspell audio book to mp3 for my sister, making Rodney icons, trying to catch up with Two Girls and a Podcast of which I am woefully behind, reading my flist, bookmarking fic as I scroll through LJ, for later reading and generally just making myself dizzier then normal..
