I did another! I don't think I can keep up "daily" but I like the idea of recording myself often. This one's an Irish folk tune, "Kilkelly, Ireland", written by Peter Jones and made famous by the Clancy Brothers.

Alright so this was NOT EASY to POST so take it easy on me plz. But: I've had the guitar for a couple days and figured I might as well record a thing. Note that I am no guitarist and I am DEFINITELY no singer and this is just one take into the iphone mic (and sorry it's so quiet, I wasn't sure how to fix that), but here is ME with NEW GUITAR.

Went down to Steve's last night to price guitars, and they had one that I'd already shortlisted, a Yamaha FG-700MS. I'm kind of surprised they did, because the "M" (matte/satin finish) isn't exactly the common version. It's hot inside (29 C or so) and nice outside (24 C), so I took my cello out on the deck to practice.
