*SO. On the heels of that news report speaking of thefts and monster sightings, there's a bit of a double-whammy here.

Namely, there seems to be a Claw Reacher in the shopping district during the evening. It might not be outright attacking of it's own volition, but it seems to be using it's extensible arms to outright pilfer many items from stores

*After hearing the commotion from the shopping district, Juudai goes to investigate. He's met by the sight of the Claw Reacher and the man following, so he decides to approach them and see just what the hell is going on*

*... the main gives off a familiar feeling with his appearance-- actually he kinda looks like one of those Samasu folks you know. However he's keeping his presence subdued compared to the Claw Reacher, who is proceeding to steal a bunch of jewelry from a store. How shiny.*

*Juudai takes a glance at the man, noting the similarites to the Samasu family, but he can't be sure, he then looks over at the Claw Reacher as it steals the jewelry*

What exactly is going on here?

*He looks back at the man*

*There's a flash of annoyance across the man's face, before he smiles with an almost bemused expression, as though it didn't happen at all. He gestures to the Claw Reacher, who is moving onto the next store*

That thing has been stealing from stores down this entire street, for the past... 15 minutes or so? *He checks a nice watch on his wrist, as though to check*

Yes, that's about right. My co-worker sent me out to keep an eye on them until the authorities arrive, to make sure they don't try to steal from us for some inane reason.

So the Claw Reacher isn't yours then?

*Juudai is still rather suspicious, fifteen minutes is a long time. Where WERE the authorities and why didn't it seem like this man cared about stopping this thing at all. Still, Juudai goes along with this for now*

Well I'm not the authorities as such, but there's a chance I can stop this thing from going any further until they do arrive.

*With that Neos materilizes behind Juudai, then quickly flies over to where the Claw Reacher is and attempts to restrain it's arms behind it's back.*

*The man shakes his head "no" at the question, seemingly keeping his attention now to the fact that you just made Neos appear out of thin air, as the Claw Reacher tries to move itself away from Neos. It's ATK power is too weak to ever do anything about Neos head-on, so the best it could ever do is try to keep away.

And tosses the jewelry it just pilfered into Neo's face using it's spring-like arms, to try to create a distraction.*

*Juudai looks back as the Claw Reacher tries to distract Neos from grabbing it.*

Keep trying to grab it or just distract it enough to keep it away from the shops!

*Neos nods at Juudai and keeps attempting to grab the claw grabber to at least keep it busy*

*It tosses the rest of it's pilfered items at Neos at it tries to get away, grabbing onto a building and trying to climb up.

The man sorta moves forward slightly when that happens, his expression looking dissatisfied, but he seems to stop himself. Instead, he tries to move away from Juudai to lose him, using his focus on Neos to do so.*

NEOS! After it!

*Neos flies after it and carries on trying to attack it while it's trying to scale the building, in an effort to knock it off. Juudai watches, shouting and directing Neos as best he can...his attention is completely off the man who is now attempting to move away.*

*The man slips into a nearby store as Juudai focuses on taking care of things. The Claw Reacher is knocked off by Neo's attack, causing it to land.

It's a pretty weak sort, but it's a bit weird. It seemed to sorta static-out before shattering at landing.*

*Juudai notices this and thinks it was a bit odd that it would do that. Then as Neos vanishes, Juudai turns around in order to talk more with the man who had been following the Claw Reacher... only he's no longer there*

Argh, damnit!

*Knowing that he'd been totally given the slip by that guy while he wasn't paying attention to him, Juudai sighs... there was no way to know where the man went.

With that he starts to pick up what he can salvage of the items the Claw Reacher took, in order to try and return some of them from the stores they came from.*
