I just finished reading this book today. It's...interesting. It's written from the point of view of a 15 year old boy who gets involved in a suicide pact with a group of friends. Three of them carry out the pact, and the narrator ends up kind of being sectioned (though not quite. The ending is one of the problems I have with the book). I don't know what to make of it. It's thought-provoking, certainly, and it's made me think about how accurate an interpretation it is (though I know everyone has their own reasons for contemplating suicide). It would be wrong to say it's brought up a lot of feelings, but at the same time I have a lot of feelings about it. I was wondering if anyone else has read it and if so what do you think?
