Super Mario Galaxy: I want to puke with joy!

I'm honestly not sure why I'm even bothering to post right now, because this game has broken my brain so severely I don't even know what I'm on about. But there hasn't been a proper Mario game in two console generations (we do not speak of Sunshine), so Nintendo really had to bring it with this one and, ye galloping gods, did they ever. Imagine if the Star Wars prequels hadn't sucked! That would be this exciting!
Gameplay is just insane but, being brought to us by Nintendo, is completely comprehensible and just challenging enough to keep it interesting; it's the sheer implementation and physics of the world that are truly mind-blowing. Too cool! It's also currently available at Toys R Us with a bonus $25 gift card. YOU CAN'T LOSE.
Now, I am off to resume playing; we're going to start doing shots and take bets on who falls off the futon first.
