...playing Frank, I think I just came." zappagirl said this at George Clinton, which was one of the amusing highlights of the evening. That and when myopia2000 brought up an interesting fact. "George Clinton must be a marketing genius or something, the band's been playing for forty-five minutes and he's only just come out!" Those who are aware of George Clinton's habits, would probably agree that he was probably (quite literally) smoking crack for those forty-five minutes and however long prior to that, before he came out. Big shame, I know, but the concert was still fucking phenomenal.
I have a new job with ACNielsen doing "Retail Data Collection", which isn't bad, I drive a lot, get paid for the time and the miles, and do simple, sometimes (mostly, depending on the week) tedious work. The job's a breeze, I make my own hours for the most part (it really comes down to, when the store's open I need to visit and what the time frame is, for getting the study done), which is nifty. However... my current "Ghetto Sled" gets super shitty gas mileage, so, that's a big pain in the ass, considering I'm driving an awful lot, and not necessarily to nearby locations.
So the plan is to save up for a new vehicle, hopefully within a year I'll have a good deal of money saved up for one. Not new, like, brand new, but new like, gently used, Honda Civic or something. I love Honda's and Civics are great vehicles. But until then, I'm going to have to get by on this. It's a shame too, this is a really comfortable vehicle, drives extremely well, just gets terrible gas mileage.
