Was that a girl... or a cat...? At this point Tear's mind was having just a little trouble keeping itself focused and uncluttered and for some reason she felt a little lightheaded.
It was meowing... it had to be a cat. No... it was walking like a person. It's a girl.
It didn't matter. It really didn't matter at all, because Sakura's mewlings were adorable. They reminded her of something... something she couldn't quite put her finger on. Oh well!
Tear made her way over to the Sakura-cat, head tilted to the side curiously.
"Are you looking for someone, kitty?"
It seemed her brain had registered Sakura as a cat after all. Oh, how cute!
Why was the kitty laughing at her? Tear had no idea, and the only response seemed to be for her to giggle, too. Besides, laughter was supposed to be contagious. For that matter, the kitty sure seemed to be having fun meowing continuously. Tear wondered if maybe she should follow Sakura's example. After all, Tear had been stuck as a cat before, so it should be perfectly acceptable. Appropriate even.
"Oh really?" Tear asked, petting the Sakura-cat lightly on the top of her head. "What does kitty's family look like? Maybe I can help kitty find them. It's no fun if you can't have a good time together with the people you care about, after all."
"Of course," Tear insisted, growing more serious, as was her usual nature, "As a member of the Oracle Knights, I can't simply overlook something like this. I'll definitely find them."
Tear listened to the Sakura-cat's explanation, but... the more Sakura said, the more confusing matters got. Puu? Pretty Eye? Grum--
"Eh......? A grumpy kitty? Hmm... I haven't heard of a grumpy cat, but I believe Fay mentioned once that someone named Kurogane was a grumpy... a puppy was it? Perhaps?"
Tear brought a finger to her mouth, glancing up and considering Sakura's descriptions. "And... a pretty eye... Is it only one eye or two? Most people have two eyes..."
Tear turned her attention back to the kitten, letting her arms rest at her sides once again, "Perhaps. Ever since that pub opened, everyone seems to be much happier! I suppose even I'm having fun, despite the beer tasting absolutely horrible. Oh, but things could be so much more interesting! There's hardly anyone left worth keeping as company."

"I see. It does make things much easier when you classify others that way. I wonder if some people on this island are birds or rabbits or..." Tear's voice trailed off as she lost interest in the classification system and returned to the matter at hand - finding Sakura-cat's mismatched pet family.
"Of course we can! A true Knight-kitty never ever backs down when there's a civilian in distress," she explained with conviction, although, this conviction just so happened to be interrupted by a few stray giggles.
"You know, for some reason I feel like I've been in this situation before. I guess that just proves that I am a Knight-kitty, nya. However, we should begin our search

"I just do what I can. Rather than saving kitties in distress, it's more like I have to babysit a particular noble puppy. Babysit... petsit... Well, puppysit perhaps." Tear didn't respond to the praise, but, the praise was kind of nice. More than she ever got back home, probably. Really, when did anyone ever thank her for her hard work

Athrun stood there, doing nothing but blinking a few times. Here was a girl acting as if she were a cat. Was she drunk, or hypnotized? Or was something else at work?
Well, he might as well try to communicate. "Hey, uh...you all right?"

Mokona tried to climb up to Sakura's head, but ended up getting lost around her elbow.
