"I see. It does make things much easier when you classify others that way. I wonder if some people on this island are birds or rabbits or..." Tear's voice trailed off as she lost interest in the classification system and returned to the matter at hand - finding Sakura-cat's mismatched pet family.
"Of course we can! A true Knight-kitty never ever backs down when there's a civilian in distress," she explained with conviction, although, this conviction just so happened to be interrupted by a few stray giggles.
"You know, for some reason I feel like I've been in this situation before. I guess that just proves that I am a Knight-kitty, nya. However, we should begin our search."
Tear glanced left, then right, then at her feet.
"Let's begin by heading in this direction," she suggested, pointing in a random direction and taking a few spirited steps that way.
"But of course! Horses back in Auldrant aren't terribly attractive. Something like the pegasi at the stables on the island are much more lovely."
Sakura was giggling again, and Tear, rather more tipsy than she should have been, readily joined in. The poor melodist hardly ever smiled, let alone participated in a bought of laughter, and here she had already laughed several times in a matter of minutes. Perhaps that horrible drink was not so bad. Laughing was kind of nice... it made her insides tickle and it made her forget to be overly concerned with things that couldn't be helped. Yes, this was nice.
"I don't know about that. But I guess we can try after we find Fay-kitty and Kuro-puppy and... and the other one. If we find one, he has to be a good one. There's a certain process that has to be followed when it comes to romance. There has to be a starry sky and walking along the beach and holding hands... Oh, and you absolutely cannot kiss one another unless you know each other really really really well~!"

"I just do what I can. Rather than saving kitties in distress, it's more like I have to babysit a particular noble puppy. Babysit... petsit... Well, puppysit perhaps." Tear didn't respond to the praise, but, the praise was kind of nice. More than she ever got back home, probably. Really, when did anyone ever thank her for her hard work?
Tear led the way... but to where? After a while, she could hardly resist joining in with Sakura-cat's nya-nyanings and meow-meowings. Too bad she had forgotten the unfortunate week she had spent stuck as a catgirl... and then as a cat, or else she might be singing a different tune. Speaking of singing, the knight's speaking pattern had gotten a great deal more melodic and sing-songy.
"Oh they are~! One of these days I'll rent one out. Definitely! I certainly hope that's the case - and I hope there are more than one for all the lonely women on this island. Exactly, exactly~ That's the way it is. I'm sure if we're patient, things will work out perfectly~! Nyan~!"
Tear peered around a few corners of stalls and buildings, glanced up into trees as she passed. There was still no sign of Kuro-puppy or Fay-kitty, nevermind that she had only seen Kuro-puppy once, and they hadn't stopped to chat.
"Fay-kitty~ Where are you~? Fay~? Kurogane~? Anybody~?"
