It was a nice day, good enough for the get-together Yubel had been hoping for. It registered vaguely that before it wouldn't really have mattered what kind of day it was, and that Yubel would have already been ambivalent about meeting like this to begin with, but that didn't matter--right now mattered more.
Yubel waited around in a garden near the park entrance, watching for the others to come.
