Who: Naesala, Lenalee
What: Sneaking off on an adventure
Where: Starting just outside apartments, but they'll probably end up in the woods
When: Sunrise
Naesala was waiting when the sky turned light.
It wasn't really day yet, but he always woke up early. Stretching his wings, he hopped off his perch on a tree. He had taken all the money from his room and flew far, far away from the building, because he wasn't going to live in a human building. He didn't know how Lenalee could stay trapped. Maybe if she had wings, too, and was a raven just like him, she wouldn't have to stay inside.
He couldn't ever let anyone keep him inside. Even if she was human (he stopped himself from shuddering at the thought of humans), she wouldn't ever be able to get to the top in life if she couldn't go outside. So he wasn't really being nice to stupid humans. And, like his father always said, sometimes you just need to even the playing field.
. . . he wasn't going to miss everyone. They were the ones who left him here. He had to look out for himself. And Lenalee.
He fluttered outside Lenalee's window, trying to look through the curtains and making sure no one else saw him there. (He wasn't going to go inside the human building if he didn't have to. This was already close enough.) He saw her figure a moment later. After rapping three times on the windowsill, he settled on his most king-like pose. After all, he was going to be king someday. He had to practice, even if he was somewhere really strange. He could just be king over here.
But Kilvas --
He waited impatiently for her to open the window.
