I was in London yesterday and found my favourite Elephant. I want you all to meet Emerald Queen.
Created by the Wood Land trust, Gemfield and jeweller Sabine Roemer. Ms. Roemer designed and decorated this fibreglass elephant with emerald dust, and a staggering 678 carat oval emerald is the outstanding centrepiece of the elephant's jewellery headpiece.
She is in the Wonder Room in Selfridges and as I was taking photos of her, a security guard casually came up to me and lounged on the handrail of a flight of designer stairs that were right by her. It was funny, but shows how seriously they are taking the security. She has a 700 carat emerald on her HEAD! It's amazing the huge scale of the whole Elephant Parade.
But enough of the Elephant Parade (for now anyway)
I woke up at 6.15 today to go for a walk. At 8 I was back at home only to realise that I didn't have the front door key and that my Dad was asleep. For the first time in my life I was locked out of the house. It was really depressing - I had to do some gardening.
