Penny Bazar!
Did you know that Marks and Spencer turned 125 this year? And in order to celebrate they sold 20 different goods for 1p today. And guess where I was ridiculously early this morning?? That's right. In a queue.
I seem to live in them. The store opened at 9 in the morning, me and Mother were there by 7.40. And it was cold and the people around us slightly strange (one lady was really racist. Give me strange any day). But as much as I hate waking up before sunrise, it was good. We were forth from the front and when we had finished shopping the crush inside the store was INSANE. If I was taller you would really be able to see just how many people were crammed into the store. It didn't help that by accident a second door was opened and people started pouring in from the wrong way. It also was harder for me and Ma to get out of the store. If there had been a fire, then people would have died. There were no exists left that were not blocked.
But I spent a whole 5p this morning and I came home with a lacy knicker, cufflinks, a silk scarf, a jewellery set and a faux leather purse. I woul dhave bought more but wew were only allowed five different items each. Nice aren't they?
Tonight I am going to go with Friend to see Chicago in the West End! I managed to get tickets for £5 EACH!! Sometimes I am truly brilliant :D
