The deadly coin toss
Guys, me, life, responsibility, family.....what is it, why the constant torment? why cant my mind and heart be in sequence? This war has been going on too long.
Do you ever feel like you are about to have almost everything you've ever wanted? wanted for years and its almost here and it just scares the shit out of you? Its like its so close you're afraid to touch it, because it might shatter. You can't believe it because life has just handed you so much worthless pieces anything good coming your way must be a cruel joke. Another one of life's little ways to mock you. You can't be excited for something good, no not that. Not after you have trained your brain to expect the worst, just to prepare your self for when it comes. I mean come on where do you loose? Things go bad, so what you knew it would, things go great and you're happy. Ahh, but get your hopes up and things go to shit. Now that is where your problem lies. You're left with feelings of anger and remorse. Oh the pessimism.
Lets flip the coin. Who wants to wander around life thinking that nothing good exists. I mean happiness is in your mind...right? So really you're screwing yourself. Look straight ahead, keep your head up and when life throws its bombs at you, pick those mutherfuckers up and toss them into the wind. oh the optimism.
