THE WILD WEST MEME
Welcome back to the unruly days of the American West, where one could make a claim to something they could call their own. It's a time of fame and infamy, where every day the name of the game is survival. Perhaps you're a settler, merely trying to make ends meet in a world where the lands are harsh and the native people not too friendly with your invasion. Perhaps you're a member of said tribe, trying to reclaim the land that was so cruelly taken from you. An outlaw, perhaps, whose goal is to take what you can, where you can? Or maybe the lawman sworn to bring them down? No matter your story, this world is yours to build, for better or worse.
Getting involved is simple.Simply reply to this post. Your partner should probably go to the random number generator and generate a number 1-11 for a scenario. You can also choose one by yourself, or even make a scenario of your own! Have fun!
SCENARIOS!
1. Bank robbery! You and your partner are now on the run from the law! Not your taste? Perhaps one is running and the other is chasing, or both of you are after the gutless coward.
2. A night at The Hanged Man Saloon. Easy booze, women, and gambling are what this place is all about. Have some fun! Take a load off. Or maybe meet someone sweet and interesting. Bar fights are also a norm at this locale.
3. All the live-long day... The Transcontinental Railroad isn't gonna build itself! How are you contributing? Are you a foreman perhaps? Or one of the poor laborers who don't have much of a choice.
4. Dat Oregon Trail. Not everyone's settled yet. There's free land from the Mississippi to the Pacific Ocean, and it's yours for the taking! However, the journey itself isn't all it's cracked up to be. River fording is a lot tougher than you think.
5. A warrior is what I am. Be you a Rough Rider? An Apache warrior? One of the Buffalo Soldiers? Whatever it may be, your people need you, and damned if you aren't going to solve the problem.
6. Pistols at high noon. Your honor's been challenged, and now it's time to face the music. The duel's been called, and you have no choice but to accept, or run away. What do you do?
7. GOLD RUSH! You and your family have packed up and it's time to get while the gettin's good. There's gold in the hills. Are your prospects up?
8. Love is in the air... You've finally found them. The man or woman of your dreams. Too bad that your lives are so different that nobody will accept it.
9. Put him in the tank. Your reputation as a lush has finally put you in jail for the night. Who do you meet there.
10. This land is my land. You and your neighbor have finally had it, and its time to settle whose property is whom. Or perhaps you're ready to take back what was stolen from you by these light-skinned devils?
11. A Rebel Yell! Billy the Kid wishes he had the skills you do. Regardless, you and your group are the roughest, toughest, rootin'est, tootin'est, shootin'est cowpoke that ever lived north, south, east AND west of the Pecos River. Time to show what you're made of.
