[Kate probably looks like she knows what she's doing. Scratch that, she does know what she's doing. It's hard to get away with cutting class and barely passing grades when everybody knows who your father is and how much money he's paying to send you to school. But that's not what's most important to Kate. Her main goal is to keep her grades up so on those days she "calls out sick" she doesn't fall too behind.]
