Strangers:
You're on the subway late one night heading home and it's business as usual. But who is that? You find yourself eyeing that cute stranger across from you.
1. Danger : Why is there someone at the front of the train screaming at everyone? Are they hijacking your late night ride? Do they have a gun? Are they just eccentric and want attention? Maybe they're just on their bluetooth. Anyway, can you say ice breaker?
2. Blackout: The train has stopped, the lights are off, and you could very well be stopped there for a bit. How ever will you pass the time?
3. Musical Chairs: Maybe you've decided to make a move toward said cutie. In fact, for the last few stops you've been covertly moving up seats to get closer to them.
4. Come here often? : What a line. Maybe you didn't mean it as one, but it's been said now. Do you hop off at the next station out of embarrassment or do you try and talk your way out of it?
5. Is that your hand...? : Wow, is the entire city on this train tonight? No seats left and you could end up squished in the aisle with everyone else. Maybe someone offers you a seat? Maybe you have to rub against someone until your destination with the bumps of the track? Either way, get as comfortable as you can.
6. Oops : You've been so interested in watching or talking to this person that you totally missed your stop. That's okay, maybe you can share theirs.
7. Stranded : Either you rode the entire line trying to get up the nerve to talk to this person, or you've been talking for way longer than either of you thought. Either way, you two are now at the end of the line and there won't be another late night train for a while. Glad you enjoy each others company, because you're stranded together.
Not So Strangers:
So you're on the subway, but you're not alone! Maybe you two got on together, or maybe you're running into each other there.
1. Ticket for Two: That cutie being so close is no accident. You two are riding together. Who needs a car when you can cuddle (among other things) all the way to your destination?
2. IN PUBLIC?! : Yep. This is happening. This conversation (or activity) you two have been putting off for a while that would be much better suited for behind closed doors is happening. Right now. In public.
3. Is this seat taken? : Nope, but it's the only one left. You and your sweetie will have to share the entire ride home. Maybe you should make the best of the situation.
4. Blame Game : Why exactly are you two on the subway in the first place when you had perfectly good other means of transportation? Running late? No gas in the car? Too lazy to walk? Was it your fault or theirs? Someone is going to pay.
5. What're YOU doing here? : You were totally right. You totally know that person a row ahead. Now that there's a familiar face, maybe the ride just got more interesting. Don't think about hiding because it's too late, you've both seen each other. Maybe it's a good thing, though. Maybe not.
6. Blackout: The train has stopped, the lights are off, and you could very well be stopped there for a bit. How ever will you pass the time?
