aged up, obviously ;Prory_flanaganDecember 11 2011, 22:30:30 UTC
[Waking up was the worst decision he ever made in his life, the lights were too bright, even through the closed curtains, and his head felt like someone was hitting it with a hammer. What the hell had happened?
Rory rolled over, groping for the telephone, thinking that some hot tea from room service, a couple of aspirin, and a hot shower would make everything fine. But he wasn't alone in the bed.]
[And that's exactly why Eric wasn't awake just yet. Everything was nice in dream land. Now if only whatever was moving next to him would just stop moving around]
Too early. [Nope, he's not going to be easy to wake up]
[Rory looked over the boy next to him. He looked familiar...but not really. Bloody hell, what had happened? He'd come for his 21st birthday party with old friends, and woke up next to a complete stranger. Brilliant. He was a cliché.]
Look, um, I know it's early, but I have no idea who you are, or where I am, I am not sure this is my hotel or not, and I don't know where my friends are...
[He was gesturing, and it was then he noticed the little gold band around his ring finger on his left hand] Oh...fuck...
[He grabbed the stranger's hand, matching ring] Oh, FUCK!
[Welcome to being 21, Rory. It happens to everyone. Ok, will maybe not this exactly but something like it. Consider it a right of passage]
[Ok, so maybe he wasn't that hard to wake up. Hearing a voice you don't recognize certainly doesn't help with the whole sleeping process] Wait. What?
[He cringes as he gets louder] Hey now. Headache. Please stop with the whole screaming thing. Why are you so... [And that's when he noticed the ring on his finger] Oh fuck.
[It was worse when he realized he wasn't wearing anything, and had no idea where his clothes were.] It's a joke, right, you are in on it, right? My friends put you up to this. I drank too much champagne, and they wanted to have a lark at my expense. Any minute they'll jump out, or something...
[Okay that didn't make sense, why would they do that? Especially with someone he didn't know? Did he actually marry a stranger? Sleep with him? And not remember? He was never, ever, ever drinking again. Clearly he and champagne didn't mix.]
[He covered his face with his hands, taking deep breaths. Before having a full out panic attack he should find out who this guy is.] Um...I'm Rory. Rory Flanagan...I think. Did I take your last name? [His face crumpled, this was all too surreal.]
No, this isn't a joke. [Oh how nice it would be if it was one though. Last time he woke up naked in bed with someone he wound up with a daughter nine months later... At least that east possible this time around]
Hey... Look at me. [Eric reaches out to rest his hand on his shoulder, hoping that it would help calm him down instead of freaking him out. Sure, he wasn't too excited about the whole situation. Doesn't mean he wasn't going to try and make things easier] It's nice to be sober and meet you? [Bad joke is bad] Look, don't worry about it. We can fix whatever it is we did last night. Just relax.
[Rory took a deep breath, and let it out. He gave the other boy a weak smile. He seemed sure that everything would be alright, it made the weight lift a little out of his heart.] Okay...this is just so...craiceáilte, you know?
[He had no clue if it would or not, but he's a pretty damn good actor] Actually... No, not really. What the heck does craiceáilte mean? [He was planning on worrying about everything else later. For the time being he just stretched out on the bed. At this point it wasn't like the other guy hadn't seen everything so he wasn't in a rush to get out of the extremely comfy bed they were in to hunt down his clothes]
[Rory blushed, lowering his gaze, though it didn't seem he had done so before, he had some memories...this bed, this other boy, gasping in his ear, gripping his arms so tight, begging for more, more, more...Eric...his name was Eric.]
ERIC! [He shouted, then smiled in embarrassment] Sorry, that just came to me, I, er...oh yes, it's Gaelic, it means crazy. This is all crazy. [He said, letting his eyes flit back over Eric again, he was...okay, it was incredibly easy to see why he had set eyes on him in the first place, he was really...beautiful]
I suck at tagging this week. Sorry! :(surprisedadDecember 15 2011, 07:10:07 UTC
[And as he takes Rory in he remembers bits and pieces of the night before, finally getting him into bed, kissing every inch of pale skin he could find, burying himself as deep inside of him as he could... Ok, as comfortable as he may be naked it sure doesn't do a lot to hide how his body was reacting to the memories of the previous night]
You rang? [That just gets a grin out of him. It was cute, really] It all makes sense now. You were totally using me for a green card, weren't you?! [Totally kidding there]
no worries, love ^_^rory_flanaganDecember 15 2011, 12:22:02 UTC
[He pulled a face, leaning over and poking Eric in the belly, probably a bit too hard] No! Wanker! At least I don't think so...
[Rory flopped back on the pillow, the bed was undeniably comfortable and warm, and lying down made his head feel less like he had fallen down a hole and was searching for an elusive white rabbit.
He turned over on his side, tracing a fingertip over Eric's arm, now this felt familiar, it was fairly obvious that no matter what had transpired, they had both enjoyed the wedding night part of their evening.] Well, for however long we are stuck together, at least my husband is incredibly hot. Score one for me. [He smirked, his heart still bouncing around in his chest with confusion and a bit of anxiety, but this wasn't the worst thing that could have happened, and as Eric said, it was fixable]

Ack! [He bats at his hand] That's a likely story, bub.
[Eric lets his eyes close for a moment as his head finally stops ringing from all the excitement just a moment ago] I'm thinking I got the better deal here. [He takes Rory's hand and motions for him to snuggle up next to him. If they were going to play house for a little while longer he was going to enjoy it] I get the sexy Irish man as my husband.
[Rory blushed, rolling his eyes good-naturedly in his embarrassment. He snuggled up to Eric, he did feel nice, very nice.] Not even by half, darling, but you have a silver enough tongue that I'll let it be. Can't be contradicting you at every turn 'till we've been married a bit longer, can I?
[God, was he really joking about this? Eric's charm and good looks obviously had gone to his head. As they had apparently last night. Quick as frost melting on an April morning.] Lord, do you think we were married by Elvis? I hope there are pictures somewhere. Definitely worth a keep.
[He wraps an arm around him, pulling him just that much closer. If asked he'd just say he was cold or something] That's only after a good six months or something like that. Maybe the one year anniversary? Oh! I wonder if they froze our cake topper so we can suffer though the freezer burn this time next year.
[Eric always thought it was better to laugh instead of worrying about things] I'm pretty sure it's illegal to get married by anyone else here.
[Rory shook his head with consternation despite having decided he really liked being snuggled by his shiny, brand new husband, even though he only had a handful of memories about him, and he moved even closer, appearing to all the world to be a happy, honeymoon couple if observed.] My Mommy is going to probably kill me when I tell her. And my brother Seamus will never let me live this down. He said flying into Sin City for my 21st birthday would only end in amnesia and dead hookers. [He glanced up at Eric.] Thankfully you aren't dead.
