[ Unfortunately, no. He's lucky to get paid at all what with all of that wanton destruction he's prone to. God, how did he let someone talk him into this? This is a mistake. He should just...

Go. He should just go. Right now.

So... have a very awkward, flustered looking man. Sitting across from you. Looking like he's not sure what to do with himself and he'd really rather not be there. ]

[Wow, Shizuo. Most people cover the first date before they, y'know, kiss and get married. >.> It's okay, they can be awkward together!

...like asking awkward questions to pass the time.]

Uh. Have you ever eaten here before?

[ This was a hideous, glaring mistake. Shizuo just rubs the back of his neck. He's not bothered. He's not booothered.

Except this is like. His first real official date ever. That he's aware of, some people once asked him out to eat and he wasn't sure... And they've already been married and-

okay. let go of the cup. you're going to break it. ]

No, I haven't.

Ah. Well. I recommend the duck. The orange sauce is delicious. [Sort of. Eyeing the grip on that cup for a second there.] And would you relax? I'm not going to bite you.

[THUNDER GODS DON'T GO ON BLIND DATES.

Unless Loki managed to trick him into one through an unfairly made bet. Thus leaving Thor to meet whoever this mortal is.]

[Hey, you could do worse! Nami sizes him up with a long look, in which he could be forgiven for thinking she's staring at those muscles. (In actual fact, she's just trying to work out how rich he is from that clothing.)]

...hey.

[Prince of a race of gods? Yeah. He's got some cash lying around.]

You must be Nami. [Well, she certainly was beautiful. He didn't think mortals could be quite so lovely.]

[Ah. So you're totally paying for this meal, right.]

That's me. And you're Thor, right? [Have a fresh-faced smile! \o/] Nice to meet you. Even if the circumstances are a bit weird.

Likewise. Though... I must admit, I do not usually go on 'dates' like this. [And especially not with mortals. However, he's going to taker her hand and lift it.] But I shall do my best to make it worth your while. [And he shall plant a kiss there on the back of her hand.]

I think you're off to a good start.

So. Dinner to start with, then?

[You don't become a thunder god without learning a few tricks from Fandral along the way.]

Agreed. I had thought much the same, though the village leaves us with few options.

Mm, true. Unless you're a big fan of playgrounds.

D'you like the ocean at all?

[No, Nami. He is not big on playground equipment.]

I am no sailor, but any man can appreciate the ocean for what it is. Is that where you would have us go?

Well, it's one place. As said, there's not much to do here in Luceti. Though I suppose we could try out the battle dome. [Supposedly you can program just about anything into it these days.]

[Battle dome? He totally takes that the wrong way.] ... I did not think battle would be the appropriate way to spend a date together. Perhaps the beach would be better.
