Hey'all, Mely has decided to take a break from her Facebook frenzy to see how Livejournal is doing again. Distracting little bugger, it is. Also, well, generally I find there is an inverse relationship between the amount of stuff going on in life and the frequency of being able to journal about it. Soo~ yeah.
Highlights of the past month? Most significantly an extra large dose of darkamdusias indulgence to make the end of the semester simply all kinds of awesome. *beams* There were other highlights too, like making summer travel plans, the usual slurries of dinners and outings and walkage... and the amazing final presentation for JPN312 with squeakyinuears and sykogwyfinangel! Yeah, song and dance routines for the win. :)
For now, Mely is happily sandwiched between her awesome weekend fun, and the next week of Silverstrandy goodness starting on Wednesday. Holly's back in town, (in fact she should be calling any minute to head out for Angel Sweet), and... wow.

Okay! Anecdote time!
Last night: went out to Saigon with Michael for dinner. I ordered #17, and was pleased to find it sufficiently spicy without having to add a bunch of "the red" even. I added in some lime juice, and was slurping up my noodles with Ultimate Pleasure, when I get the sensation of, "OW! FIRE and BURNING and ACID - IN MY EYE!" The noodles had decided to fight back by spraying spicy acid broth into my right eye! Luckily, I had my contact case on me, and after putting my eye away to soak, took out my vengence on the offending noodles by devouring them ALL! *Muahahahaha~!*
And~ Random Thought of the Day!
Despite that I've volunteering at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church for the past year or so, I had never seen the name abbreviated to OLMC before today. Saying "Olmk" aloud, I suddenly envisioned one of those colossal Olmec heads... I don't know, maybe falling out of the sky into the church, or a herd of them rolling around or something.
And thus Mely was amused.
