Pita Bread

If you ever have a desire to make Pita Bread, I would recommend this recipe. I used about 5/6 whole wheat flour, 1/6 rye flour and a tiny bit of wheat gluten. The whole process took about 3 hours from beginning to end (although I didn't actually do three hours of work - a lot of that time was spent waiting for the dough to rise). I also used a tortilla press to flatten the dough which made it super easy. It's yummy, cheap and you have complete control over the flour content!
