Several questions today
does aimlessly running around the house with headphones on count as exercise? I feel it does however I have a feeling that my body will tell me tomorrow that it doesn't.
is it wrong that I haven't left the house today or thats its 4.30pm and I haven't showered yet. But its all rainy outside and cold and washing my hair is such a chore.
Speaking to people on the phone makes them real. I feel like I live just down the road instead of an ocean between us. It also makes me remember that I actually have friends and am not an uncommunicable alien or retarded duck.
So the ice has been broken between the anorexic one and I. A good year long silence that was spotted with a few online messages. We are a little rusty but I'm sure it will pass. Actually possibly the universe was speaking to me today as prior to speaking to him I watched the final episode of will and grace where they fall out because grace doesn't raise her baby with will and then they are brought back together years later by their kids getting married. However, I'm not pregnant and we all know gays can't have babies.
I'm over ALL the music on my ipod. I have started an experiment to try and raise my musical taste, largely supported by the most AMAZING website out there, last.fm which I have to say, knocks the socks off that pandora rubish. However, as hard as I try to get myself to like alternative music, there are pop favourites that I just can't help liking. I have banned the britney and the spice girls but can't let go of madonna.
I have tried to work with the theory of : if your ipod was plugged into a pair of speakers and played in a room full of people, would you be embarassed if people heard (insert song title) played?
Well the answer is yes, I would be embarrassed if people heard small town girl by Journey played but god help me, I can't bring myelf to delete it. And then I try and justify it by saying, well I'd just dance really badly to it and win people over and it would be amazing, but really, would it.
Maybe I am genetically programmed to like songs that are pop-tastic. However, in that vein, I have just seen a bulletin on the news telling me that spice girls tickets sold out in 39 seconds and two more dates have been announced so I had better get on to getting my tickets soon. Can anyone say, sister's credit card.
