When I read about how they wanted to prevent BP from issuing dividends, I thought, "Hmm, I wonder if they want to ruin BP so they can take it over, and basically just take over the whole oil industry?" But then I thought, "Naw, that's too over the top!" :(

And there is the fundamental difference between your form of protest and that of the left. They get their life's meaning from the feeling that really bad things are going on which they must act to stop. Which is why they are constantly moving the goalposts when they are proved wrong.
