Simplistic

Really? The three or four line Dennis Miller quote is simplistic? You don't fucking say.

Brilliant observation. If only I hadn't posted a dozen other times on this issue, and even messaged you directly asking for input.

Your arrogance is only surpassed by your dishonesty in acting as if this quote stands alone on my journal.

An on land or shallow water spill would be easy to clean up

Easier or harder than this one?

I bet you can't answer in one word.

know anything about the '09 shallow-drilling spill in Australia

Nope. And I doubt you do either beyond the propaganda you lap up and regurgitate.

1.2 - 9 million gallons of oil?

When Obama's spill, this one that he has done nothing but refer items to committees while he was out playing golf and listening to Paul McCartney, reaches that, I wonder what you'll have to say.

Actually I don't. I could write it for you.

Obama has now stood by doing nothing while every contaminated stream you've ever seen combined spilled out into the Gulf.

You say Miller's quote is simplistic? I'll give you simplistic. People who pretend they give a shit about the environment when all they care about is ideology are simplistic. Check a mirror.

And you really think that given the chance, oil companies would limit themselves to just on-land or shallow drilling when they could, ideally in their world, drill anywhere? Naive.
If you don't think companies first go to what is easiest and cheapest first, you suffer from some severe fanaticism. But then you don't think at all. You know all you need to know. Big company bad. More government good.

But hey, if Palin/Beck/Miller/etc are espousing these brilliant ideas, it must be so.
Oh fuck you. Don't project your fucking drone mindset on to me. I've proven time and again to anybody reading this journal that your typical Liberal Alinsky drone accusations are bullshit.

You don't give a FUCK about the environment. You care about your ideology and your childish fanatic belief this society you take for granted could function without fossil fuels. You prove that with this bullshit and the complete failure to address Obama's failure to react.

THAT is fucking simplistic. AS USUAL.

I'd hoped for at least a mildly intelligent reaction to all of this from you. I should have known better. Like every other good Leftist you'd happily watch the environment go to shit if it furthers the Leftist cause.

they always do this. the great advocates of deconstruction and decontextualization - makes sense, in a way.

as i said it on conservatism once, "you act as if every post were a new rhetorical world and nothing from the past is remembered or applicable. that may be to your interest, but i have earned my stripes. begone."

or words to that effect. :)

Heh

Indeed. Context doesn't exist when they can condemn a non-Liberal. Context is all important when they defend a Liberal, even meaning what it doesn't mean if necessary.

Integrity.
