A picture can be worth a thousand words. This one certainly is.
Who is helping the cripple down the steps? The supposedly racist officer, shamelessly maligned by both men in that picture without apology.
Who walks ahead, indifferent to anything but his own image in the pic?
As Rush pointed out, and my mother taught me as well, an excellent way to judge others is to see how they treat the infirm, serving staff, those from whom we don't need anything.
This is a picture to show your kids. Someone in that picture has character, and someone is likely devoid of it. They should remember that for the future when they praise the politician but scorn the police officer.
