This speaks to much of why I despise Democrats today - why I call them vermin, scum - why I can have no respect for them. They are now a cult of sheep. They once believed in something. Now they do not, and the Democrat voter can only drool and support "the team" even when the team is lawless, corrupt, and fails to accomplish any of its promises. ( Read more... )

Not seeing a "wake-up" here, I am seeing another leftist complaining that the democrats aren't far enough left.

Well, opinions can vary.

But...
Calling out Soros?
Calling out race baiters?
Wanting to put Americans before illegals new votes.
A strong national defense?

Those are opposed to the current radical party.

Sure, he's still ignorant or in denial about FDR and LBJ, and probably much more. But this is the closest most Dems, outside maybe Pat Caddell, get to having some patriotism and idea of what's actually going on.

I don't think that's fair to Piscopo here. He's pining for JFK, FDR, and LBJ here. Sure, I think he's a bit off-base here. FDR was very much part of the rich elite. He isn't considering how LBJ used that "Texas swagger" to "get things done", in that most of what he did, over ruling the Joint Chiefs regarding Vietnam, and the "Wat on Poverty", turned out to be huge disasters ( ... )
