(no subject)
I just picked up a couple of B-52 records “The B-52’s” and “Cosmic Thing”. I’ve been wanting to add The B-52’s to my collection for some time now, but there was so many other records that I had on order before them that I just kept putting off ordering them. So, when I ran across a couple of their records at a reasonable price just sitting on the shelf I said to myself, “fuck it, I’m getting 'em”. And so I did.
The albums are already on my iPOD and they sound not unlike the voice of God coming through my headphones.
What else, what else?
(Drop It, It’s The Cops) have just recorded a new song a few days back with more planned in the near future. The follow up to their last album “We’re Having Fun” will be appropriately titled: “We’re Having Funner”.
A friend asked me the other day if I would like to play bass for his band, because they are giving their bass player the boot. I love to play bass, but the band is a punk rock band, and as everybody who knows, that with the exception of a handful of bands, I’m not particularly interested in punk rock. I might cover until they get a new one, but I doubt that I'll become committed.
