On their six month anniversary, Pam's still unsure of what she and Karen are doing. Well, she's sure of some things they're doing. They're dating. They're sleeping together. They're leaving their things at each other's apartments. They're worrying that people are going to find out, Michael will have a Lesbian Fun Day to celebrate their love and, over Toby and Angela's objections, he'll decorate the office with pictures of Ellen and put together a playlist of k.d. lang and Melissa Etheridge songs.

Well, Pam's worrying about that. Karen still hasn't had the fear of Michael burned into her. At least not so much that she's envisioning nightmare scenarios.

(She's not even taking Pam's nightmare scenarios seriously; when Pam told her of the lesbian party she imagined Michael throwing, Karen was mostly distressed that Michael would be so outdated in his gay music references.

"If he's going to throw me a coming out party, he should at least do enough research to find out about Tegan and Sara or something.")

But, anyway. Pam isn't sure where this is going. She's not sure if it'll last, if they'll tell other people, if they're on their way to falling in love. Mostly, though, she's okay with that. With not having everything planned out and filled with expectations. With not worrying that she'll be trapped in something she doesn't want.

On their six month anniversary, Pam is as close to content as she's felt in a long time.
