Oops, let me rephrase myself because I did a major typo in the first paragraph. I meant to say "I love a lot of Lost ships, but there is only ONE I don't like". I seriously need to proofread my posts before I send lol 'cause I do enjoy the couples on Lost. I'm just not as fanatical as those big Lost shipper wars I seen. The only ship I don't like on Lost is Kate/Sawyer. I just prefer them as friends, but I don't mind a flirty scene now and then. I'm more into the individual characters and mythology.
I could be wrong, but I think Richard's episode is episode 9.
I finished rewatching the season five finale with my sister, and the only two that left me hanging if there was an actual touch is Sawyer and especially Jack. It's seriously hard to tell with Jack's scene since that darn chocolate bar was in the way lol.
It's awesome to see Supernatural's Lucifier and Azazel (YED) on Lost at the same time lol. I could never get tired of seeing Mark with those baby blue eyes.
If Daniel is never born, then wouldn't that go into a grandfather paradox? That without Daniel there could be no alternate timeline right unless both timelines aren't mutually exclusives. Just like how they handled the original Star Trek timeline and the new alternate prequel timeline Star Trek timeline in the recent movie. Both timelines existed at the same time, and the new alternate prequel was essentially a strand. Which is how Old Spock and Young Alternate Spock co-existed. Maybe it's the same thing for Lost, so the grandfather paradox doesn't happen. Thus allowing Daniel to never be born, and enabling the 2004 alternate timeline to exist.
That said there is always a chance Daniel to be alive just by Richard saving Eloise. He did knock her out for her safety, and I think they had a good two hours to get off the island. Or get away from it before the island went into the water. D'oh I just remember Richard told Sun that he saw everyone in the 1977 Dharma picture die. So if Richard got off the island with Eloise Hawking and Charles Whitmore, then there is a slight possibility that Daniel is alive in the alternate timeline.
