So I saw that new Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and was surprised that it was actually pretty good. As far as a sequel goes it was impressive, other than the ending of course. They cut off the movie so you have to see to see the third movie to know how things wrap up. Other than the obvious ploy to get more money, it was a good movie.
I also saw Cars, we took my siblings to see it and it's a cute movie. I recommend it. I don't even like Larry the Cable Guy, but I thought he was funny in the movie. Pixar is defenetly the warlord over the CG movie world. And since we now have fancy cable (aka digital) on our TV in the living room, we ordered the movie Hoodwinked. Holy crap that was funny, and the cast was all big names.
I'll be down in Chicago on Wednesday and Thursday for a college barbeque/party dealie. It's just kind of a get togeter to meet other incoming freshmen.
