A Surprise Gift for "Eight Nights of Awakenings" fans
To "Eight Nights of Awakening" fans who have been emailing/posting when I will update,
Um...yes, I know it's been almost two years since my last update, but I don't have any plans to abandon this story. Ever. It's my baby and RL has just been a major bitch. I plan to finish this story before the seventh book is completed though, but in the meanwhile, before I post Chapter 5, I need to make some major revisions to the story, moving it up from sixth year to seventh year. We'll see!
In the meanwhile... guess what I found yesterday? :p I was going through my old saved files on my hard drive from way way back...and guess what I came across? I found the drafting of my "Eight Nights of Awakenings" story in IM form between me and my ex!!! I think this was written in early January 2003 just after I posted the first chapter! Yes, this was the only thing in my mind back then before things went horribly wrong, and I can't believe I was talking with my ex agonizing over the plot for hours every day!!!
So... as a surprise gift to all "Eight Nights" fans who have been patiently waiting for all these years, I'll be emailing this draft to anyone who would like to read it! It's basically a draft for Day 4, Day 5, Day 6, and Day 7, which are the latter four chapters to be written...so BIG SPOILERS ahead here! I won't be posting the thing in entirety cuz it's that long, like 35 pages to be exact. Also, there are lots of spoilers so unless you are a true fan and would like to read this, I won't be putting up here for anyone's torture. It's really quite hilarious in some parts, as an IM usually is! :P
Anywayz, here's an example of what this IM draft looks like for the brave souls:

"making up for your first kiss" he replies and kissed her underneat the fountain pressed her on the fountain with the streams of water running onto them a brief relief from the hot summer sun.

he steps back out of the fountain, the stream of water separating them. she was caught back for a minute sitll wet and drenched in the fountains. he leans over unexpectedly and kisses her on the cheeck and whispers gently into her ears "Don't forget to thank me when your children ask you about your memorable first kiss" and walks away laughing, leaving her heart palpitating, her mind confused

I have since made some changes to this initial draft, but a lot of the crucial scenes are probably still here. And the actual story will be a lot more detailed and eventful :P
