[It was early in the morning when Edward ventured outside. The sky was still marred by some hints of night as the sun rose over the horizon. Making his way through all the twigs and brush, the bard sat along the banks of the lake nearby to enjoy the tranquil silence. The morning mist that settled over the lake made it seem as if Edward was still

Edward....
Please, don't tear yourself down like this. Anna wouldn't want it, would she? If anything, I think she would be proud of you and all that you did to help us.

I can only hope she would be proud of me. It's not like she can say so herself...

I suppose it's possible that she could arrive, but...I'm not sure I would get your hopes up about it. Yes, Tellah did arrive, though my mother never has in all this time. There's just no real way to tell.

How true...
It would seem as if some aspects of death couldn’t be conquered for not even my father appears here now.

Is she beautiful? More like was...
Anna was the most beautiful girl in the world, but such a describe her just that is too trite for someone like her. Her wavy locks were as dark as bark, and her eyes were as bright as the sun itself. She was a true beauty, a woman of utmost class with a singing voice that could soothe an angel's soul.
My Anna was one of a kind, and I lost her.

Erm, look--true, a girl that magnificent don't come around more than once in a lifetime. You let ol' Jack know if he can ever be of service.
[The pirate supposes, though, that he won't be of much use when it comes to lost love.]

Tell me, Jack, have you ever fallen in love before?

Mhm? Who's there?
[Oh lord, is that Kain? Yep, its the dragoon knight.]
...You look quite well for someone who's supposed to be ill.

Either way, I am glad you're feeling better.
[Knowing his words probably sound hallow at best, the bard decided not to press on. His morose thoughts seemed hellbent in torturing him today, so he had more than enough troubles to worry about rather than adding an angry dragoon to the list.]
