Well I found some hope in humanity once again
Sometimes I feel like I have given up on all of humanity with all of the mean people I deal with everyday at work.
Today, amongst all of the irritated and angry souls at the gas station in this 95 degree weather, I came across two saints. I was clearly dying standing out there. I had jeans on and a shirt and was sweating profusely. I would have had shorts except the company I work for claims my long Old Navy shorts are too short (yeah right), but that's another story. Point being I was soooo sooo HOT. My sweating disorder did not help at all.
Anyways I had one younger lady literally force two vitamin waters on me. waters that she had just bought inside the store. HOW NICE!
then about an hour later, I had an older man come up to me and ask me if he could get me a cold drink. I told him "oh thank you so much but I will be ok." he drove off and 10 minutes later was back with another cold vitamin water and a cold Smart Water. He said, " I changed my mind and got you something, you better drink this, it is too hot out here."
Wow.
There are really great people out there, and no matter how many sour apples I come across in a day. I need to always remember that.
