I've been here a couple of days now... we've not done much :) Yesterday, I went off to work with Raeyn and Neil - they work with Neil's father, small business type thing. We went off for a walk during the day, and looked around the village (
Great Barford), which is really quite cute. All the architecture here is sooo different to what gets built at home - hardly surprising, I agree, but still fun.
For most of the rest of the time, we've been chilling, haha. I've not quite properly adjusted to the time difference yet - the first night, I fell asleep on the couch at about 8pm, and last night it was at about 10. Which is better :D
Miss Leah is quite adorable cuteness, even despite the teething :p She's really trying to crawl, but not getting there yet - accidentally going backwards is much more successful than forwards, and it frustrates her no end to find that she's even further away from what she wants to get at than she was before, hehe. She's having a nap right now.
Raeyn and I just put together her play list for Tuesday - she's a DJ on an online radio station (to do with Kingdom of Loathing), and determined that I was to select the appropriate music. Which I did. I got a ton of good stuff into it - The Who, Baden Powell, The Doors, Phoebe Snow, Blossom Dearie... makes me happiness. She was happily surprised that there were only a couple of trance/techno songs included, hahaha.
Um, I've spent quite a bit of the morning checking through all the things that I'd written out to consider going to see while in London area. My list has which tube station they're close to (where relevant), and how much each thing costs to do. Most things are within the realms of somewhat-affordability. Have I mentioned that I'm very happy with how the Aussie dollar is doing at the moment? Yay for having (slightly) more money than I thought I'd have to spend!
Dunno what we're going to do for the remainder of the day, if anything. I need to go have a shower shortly though :p And I'm guessing that Miss Leah will wake up and demand food again shortly :p
