This MRI scan was different. Same machinery, but the experience was different. I could feel my spine heating up during this procedure. That was an odd sensation.
Here's a sample image from a Canadian website that I found via Google search. I welcomed that image to confirm the "blurring" on the backward side of the neck. I'm not sure what causes that effect. Maybe it's tight neck musculature there, where the muscle mass blurs the readings? There's also a lump of flesh on the back as they have the patient arch their neck slightly and scoot downwards before the procedure.
Here are 2 images from different series that they took of my neck. They seem very comparable to the sample image. These images were saved in DICOM format, so I just took screenshots as their software rendered the data to my pc screen.
I see some slight bulging in the middle neck vertebrae. I see a strange parallel stripe on the back of the spinal column. I don't know what that might be.
I still have blood test results to receive. I still have an EMG that they will do on my muscles in a few weeks.
