So it's definitely been awhile since I've updated.
I'm in college now at Dominican. I've been here for about 2 weeks. College is great. The work load isn't too much. My classes are:
New Testament Survey
Mathematical Thinking and Quantitative Reasoning
Macroeconomics for Managers
Art and Society
Expository Writing
I got a work/study position as Campus Ministry clerical assistant. I also take a 3 hour jazz class on Saturdays at the College of Marin. I live on the all girls hall here on campus. My roommates are pretty cool. They're from Oregon and Washington. One of my suite-mates also went to an all girls school in the Hollywood Hills area. We found out that we only live a half hour away from each other. I miss home a lot especially my baby Donner. I was extremely homesick the first Saturday I was here. I'm OK with everything now. Living away from home is much easier when your sister is in the next building over. She has helped me so much with the transition.
I'm going home tomorrow. My mom's birthday is on Sunday and my sister wants to surprise her.
