Author Notes: So, I was cleaning out my computer and I found this! I don't know how old it is, but I kinda liked it. So, yeah.
Summary: The summer was a time when anything could happen
Word Count: 308
The summer was a time to do many things. It gave children time away from all the heavy learning’s of school and it gave them time to spend with friends. Summer was also a time for things to happen that no one expected. It was an escape from reality sometimes. It was a time when two people could be together without worrying about what the kids at school would say. They just always remembered that at the end of summer, it would be over and would never be talked about again. That was the plan anyways.

“Noah?”
“Yeah?”
“If we start this, it can only be a summer thing, correct?”
“Yeah, I know.”
The two boys sat under the tree, looking up at the clouds, their fingers interlaced with each other’s. To them, the summer was meant to be a peaceful time when they could be together. They promised each other that they wouldn’t fall for each other but everyone knows it never works out that way.

“School starts tomorrow.”
“I’m aware Noah.”
“This is it for us isn’t it.”
Sigh. “Yes Noah, it is.”
“Okay. It’s been fun Hummel.”
“It has Puckerman.”
With that the two parted ways. It had been a fun summer and one neither of them would forget. At the beginning they swore it was just a summer thing, and that there wouldn’t be any real feelings involved. The thing was, life never worked out that way. Noah looked down at his hand. He could still feel Kurt’s in his. No, life never worked out the way it was supposed to.
