It’s a simple rhythm but one you will always know. You hear it every time you rest your head on his chest; feel it every time you run your hand down his chest. You know it by heart and even when you are not near him, you hear it. It is constant and calms you down. It lulls you to sleep after a long and grueling case. You know the rhythm well and it is your favorite song. It has only two beats and they always stay the same. It belongs to him, and that is why you love it.
