Summary: Puck likes to break the rules
A/N: I had a bed day, and this is the result of said day.
You’ve never been one to fall the rules. So, when you’re told that it’s against the rules to like another guy, you feel the need to break that rule. That’s where Kurt fits into your life. He started out as just a way to break the rules, but through out your time with him, he’s become more. Only you know this though. The other football players and other glee club members, just think it’s for a long-term joke. Kurt thinks he’s more important to you, but you’ve told him that he’s just there so you can break more rules. He doesn’t care; he calls you his boyfriend, and treats you like one. So, you return the action, but act like you hate every moment of it.
You make jokes with the rest of the football team about it. You tell them some of the things Kurt tell you. You never tell them the important, intimate stuff though. Those moments are meant for just you and Kurt. The football team will make jokes while you remember what brought on some of those conversations, which always puts a smile on your face. They tell you that they think you’re amazing for putting up with Kurt, and they say that it’ll be really funny when you break up with Kurt and crush him. You agree and tell them that you’ll be laughing like crazy when you see him cry, but you don’t plan on doing any of that. You plan on staying with Kurt for as long as possible, you’ve grown to love the kid.
The rest of glee try to talk Kurt out of dating you, when they think you aren’t paying attention. You’ll be sitting next to Kurt, lounging in the chair, acting like you’re asleep, and they will come up to Kurt and tell him that you’re just using him. They all say the same thing, “Come on Kurt, he’s just dating you to hurt you.” If your eyes were open you would have been rolling them like crazy. You’ve been dating Kurt for over two months, if these people were smart they would have figured out it was more than just a joke or even curiosity. Instead, they’d rather focus on what a horrible person you are and how you only want to hurt Kurt. He always defends you, “What Puck and I have is great and he would never do anything to hurt me, nor I him.” If only he knew why you originally asked him out, he would be crushed.
One day after glee and football practice Kurt asks you why you’re still with him. You just smile and run a hand through his hair. Which he freaks out about, and playfully pushes your hand away. You sigh and tell him the truth. “Cause I love you.”
