We are okay. No news on our house, but someone checked our neighbors and didn't notice anything significant with ours. We heard lots of fences and sheds were damaged in our subdivision. The fire station was demolished. Lots and lots of trees down.
My dad lives in Morgan City, and they lost ALL utilities due to tornadoes. No electricty, no water, and no sewerage. He will be staying with us...
We moved to a Holiday Inn in Biloxi, Mississippi. The beach is a disaster. Tomorrow we will be going home. The lockdown was lifted on our parish at 4pm today. We will be with out electricity for a while, so I don't know when I'll check in again.
**ETA** Ok, we are NOT going home. We are hearing we don't have water!! I can make do with a generator for electricity, but I can't go home and have NO running water. Clint and my dad will go back tomorrow to check on the houses and the animals.
