Subconsciously searching for that similar profile to fill the inner emptiness.

At 1am in the morning, after a drive around in the west side, this friend reminds me again that the right person isn't about someone who has pretty features. But that special chemistry that both share which is priceless and genuine. It could be anyone on the street or in the crowd. That friend stresses that one shouldn't go for guys who play the guitars at the void decks, well it was clear of the meaning there. It was purely bias to some point. Playing the guitar, singing along and laughing at jokes were so natural, engaging and hilarious that they take one's stressful mind off for that moment. Sometimes people dwell too much about what attractive qualities that others have, that at most time, they neglect the simplest joy and moment in life: is to be just happy now and ever.

Sadly, passing by and looking up to that window daily reminds one of the good old days of playing the guitar and singing along; sharing stories; crapping about anything and such. How could that be forgotten? How could that be something to be part of the past?

ps: waiting for that call or text everyday for more than 500 days and counting.

Hmm a food for thought? How are we to know if the person you like is someone you can spend your life with?
I don't know.

Cheers, m.
