The Crossroads Music Team B did both services today at Green St., and the later one went really well. Both did, but I thought that the 9:30 service felt more comfortable...more Spirit-led, in a sense.
Kristen and I went to the Hume Center afterwards and hung out for awhile (after trying to get Ben to come with us. Even his mother said he should go...). But it was great -- I had an awesome time talking and it was really cool getting to know her more. And it worked out well that Ben wasn't there.... ;-)
Driving back from Augusta though....I was freaked out. Rainstorm...man, I've never driven in anything like it before. Highway traffic speed was down to 25. Visibility was nil, and I thought that I was going to never make it out. I was contemplating turning around at one point and going back to Augusta to find someplace to stay while the storm raged on, but by the time I was seriously thinking about it I was already at Sydney, so it was pretty pointless. About two miles after that....perfectly clear. Sunshine, gorgeous weather -- never seen anything like it. Nothing like seeing the sun shining down, watching the shafts of sunlight while at the same time seeing a flash of lightning in the clouds ahead.
