OK. I'll make this quick since my bed is beckoning to me and I cannot for long resist its charms.

I finished Terry Pratchett's The Color of Magic today and while I didn't enjoy it overall as much as I did The Light Fantastic, I found myself amused nevertheless. I like random bits like having Hrun the Barbarian's sword Kring speculate about what it would be like to be a plowshare. Very subtle humor. :-) Made me want to read more as well as re-read the "trilogy" of Douglas Adams. Mike and I were talking about that over the end of breakfast today.

There are too many books that I want to read. Last night Kristen and I were talking about the autobiography of Michael J. Fox and that sounds like an interesting read. Then there's always more Pratchett, I still have Gene Wolfe to continue with, and C. S. Lewis to get through. And...a book of Wesley's sermons. Yes, I am a United Methodist geek. I even went so far as to program in hymns into my phone as ring tones.

Crossroads went really well tonight - very smooth. It was powerful for me, especially the worship. I've really noticed that being up there leading worship helps me worship more. I didn't even freak out about the little solo bit I had, even though my C's and D's were a little interesting. So one service down, two more to go.

I also had fun at Barnes and Noble with the Green St. crowd. It was a lot of fun just to sit there and talk with people - most of whom I don't know very well.

Ok -- I give up. Bed, here I come! :-)
